I’m Mindi, and You Already Know Me

I’ve lived a life shaped by other people’s stories and old myths—beliefs that told me I wasn’t enough, that doubt and self-criticism were facts, not feelings. My journey to today? It was messy, uncertain, and full of the kind of hard work that doesn’t guarantee an easy fix. But I learned that change is possible and that unlearning those lies is within reach. And if it was possible for me, it’s possible for you too.
I’m here not just because I understand the struggle, but because I believe in the power of that possibility. Therapy is a space where your truth can grow, free of judgment or pressure to fit someone else’s script. It’s a place where you can reclaim your voice, reframe those old myths, and build a narrative that feels real and right. How my journey began
My journey to becoming a therapist started with years on the client side of the couch—navigating my own therapy and recovery. Those experiences taught me the transformative power of healing and connection. I later opened a program dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual trauma and educating the community on prevention and breaking the stigma. Eventually, I realized I wanted to go deeper, working one-on-one with people in a way that’s authentic, relatable, and grounded. In my private practice, I focus on helping clients ditch shame, embrace pleasure, build healthy boundaries, and rediscover the strength in their bodies and voices—all while staying rooted in the present and making space for joy and laughter along the way.
